Compound orbits break-up in constituents: an algorithm

In this paper decomposition of periodic orbits in bifurcation diagrams are derived in unidimensional dynamics system $x_{n+1}=f(x_{n};r)$, being $f$ an unimodal function. We proof a theorem which states the necessary and sufficient conditions for the break-up of compound orbits in their simpler constituents. A corollary to this theorem provides an algorithm for the computation of those orbits. This process closes the theoretical framework initiated in (Physica D, 239:1135--1146, 2010)

Treball per projectes amb servei a la comunitat

Aquest article té com a objectiu contribuir a recuperar un element constitutiu del treball per projectes, però que sovint ha estat ignorat en la pràctica escolar: el servei a la comunitat. Per fer-ho, es recuperen les aportacions d'autors de finals del segle XIX i primera meitat del segle XX que, des de diferents perspectives, reivindiquen la projecció social i l'acció en el medi com a trets bàsics de la recerca cooperativa. Es presenta la proposta metodològica del treball per projectes hereva de Dewey i de Kilpatrick, i s'incorporen les modificacions que l'acció de servei suposa en l'àmbit didàctic i els beneficis que genera des del punt de vista formatiu. Finalment es descriuen dues experiències de treball per projectes amb servei a la comunitat. Al llarg de l'article es defensa que qualsevol recerca augmenta el seu potencial educatiu si té una voluntat transformadora, si es fa amb la intenció de millorar l'entorn

How are Spanish academics coping with changes? Responses from a life histories research.

The main aim of this project is deepening our understanding of the impact of undergoing economic, social, cultural, technological and labour change in Spanish universities in the life and professional identity of the teaching and research staff, taking into account the national and european context. Onomástica y localización de algunos ceramistas y vidrieros barceloneses de los siglos XIV al XVII

This study is related to the names and Barcelona city places where ceramicists and glassblowers lived. It has been made collecting documentation from the Arxiu Històric de la Ciutat and the Arxiu Històric de Protocols. It also analyses the family´s place of birth and some features of surnames. It shows us the importance of each one of these artisanal works, their level of increasing or decreasing production from the XIVth to the XVIIth century

This work deals with the family and social situation of ceramicists who lived in Barcelona during the first quarter of the fifteenth century and the context in which they did their job. Their commercial transactions, propieties (lands, homes, slaves), marital status, inheritance, lawsuits mentioned. The reason is to know how they adapted to the new changes, their position within their society and the other aspects which help us to understand their profession

El retablo de San Miguel y San Juan Bautista de la iglesia parroquial de Sant Llorenç de Morunys (segle XV)

This article is a study about a gothic picture from the church of Sant Llorenç de Morunys dedicated to saint Michel and saint Jean Baptiste. I tried to find out who the artist was who did this work of art, to see the way saint Michel and saint Jean were represented in the Catalan iconography of the XVth century, to explain the history of the piece during our century and the system applied to restore It. Unfortunately,, It has not been possible to find the author, because we have not got the documents, but this study help us to discover more details and establish some trends and conclusions about this interesting piece

Th e economy and labour market of 15th century Barcelona ceramists (potters, makers of jugs and bowls)

Estudio de la actividad laboral de los ceramistas (olleros, jarreros y escudilleros) en el que se tienen en cuenta: las normas dictadas por el Consell de Cent de la ciudad de Barcelona, las normativas internas del gremio y otros aspectos socio-laborales como los contratos de aprendizaje, de obra y comerciales, junto a otros caracteres vinculados a la producción. Se han localizado a través de los censales, los bienes inmuebles a censo y los sitios donde residían o trabajaban; también se ha establecido una aproximación al volumen de artífices que había, con el fin de profundizar en el conocimiento de este oficio durante la primera mitad del siglo XV.Th is is a study of the labour activity of ceramicists (potters, makers of jugs and bowls), which takes into account regulations issued by the Consell de Cent of Barcelona, internal regulations of the guild, and other social and employment issues, such as apprenticeship, labour and commercial contracts, as well as other features related to production. They have been discovered via census records, real estate records and information on the places where they were living or working. An approximation has also been established of the number of artisans there were, in an eff ort to develop further knowledge of this profession during the fi rst half of the 15th century
